About Our Inn...

 
The Parrot Mill Inn at Chatham was built as a mill house in 1780. Originally located on the Fishawack River, it was later moved to its present location on Main Street and served as a home for the Parrot family for over a century. The Dutch Gambrel roof on the house in characteristic of many of Chatham's early buildings.

When you visit us, you will enjoy the ambiance of a unique colonial residence, the charm of a bygone era, yet with all the comfort and conveniences of today.

The Parrot Mill Inn is ideally located near major corporate offices and universities. The surrounding area also boasts outstanding restaurants, fine shopping, antiquing, and several points of historical interest. The lovely downtown is within walking distance from the Inn and a short car or train ride into downtown Manhattan.

We offer 11 finely appointed rooms, all with their own private full baths. Also available are gathering rooms and large grounds for your corporate or special events.
